The playground at the “hollow” just over the dunes at Enniscrone Beach has been a favourite with children for decades. It’s a great way to ensure that your little people burn up every possible morsel of energy while having the time of their lives. So on your way to or from the beach, this is a must for the little ones!
Enniscrone walking club was set up to give people an opportunity to get active, learn about and be part of the landscape locally and in surrounding areas and also the chance to meet new people.
The popularity is continually growing along with the numbers of people joining. The club meets every Saturday morning at 9.30 to walk 10 - 15km in the local hills (Ox Mountains usually).
In Summer we add Wednesday evening walks at 7pm.
Harbour Sup n Sail is dedicated to SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding) and Dinghy Sailing. We operate from two bases; Enniscrone Pier, Co Sligo and The Quay, Ballina, Co Mayo.
Enniscrone Pier is a safe and sheltered place to learn and develop SUP skills. The stunning beach offers paddlers an opportunity to further develop in a more open and exposed environment and progress into Surf SUP. Killala Bay has crystal clear water and a variety of sea life including dolphins and seals. Tours can be organised between Enniscrone, Killala and our second base at the Quay, aswell as Bartra Island and the Estuary.
The Quay, Ballina, River Moy and Belleek Forest Park all combine to make this location one of the most outstanding areas for SUP in Ireland. This environment is very sheltered from the wind and elements and is the most incredible backdrop for your paddle, rich in nature and wildlife. It’s a tidal location, and on the high tide it’s possible to paddle upriver to Ballina town and the famous Ridge Pool. It offers accomplished paddlers an opportunity to downwind, tour, race and explore.
We have boards for all levels, beginners, inflatable’s touring, surf SUP and race boards. We also have a great selection of paddles and other necessary safety equipment. We offer specialized tours for different groups, team building, parties stags and hens. We can provide great deals on BBQs, buffets and sit down meals and accommodation through our partner businesses.
